Participants leave with our core curriculum around public speaking.

The principles that guide our curriculum: speaking is grounded in body and presence of mind, leads from the heart, and speaks into the spirit of shared humanity.

Special emphasis is placed on negotiating our relationship with fear and developing confidence and excitement before a talk, honing the voice, which determines 38% of our communication, the art and science of story-telling, executive presence, body language and non-verbal cues — 55% of communication, and talk tools such as connection, explanation, revelation, and humor.

Participants will also create a story bank of purpose, leadership, and customer stories, and practice sharing these stories and give mini-speeches in various contexts.

They will work toward a TED-style key note or “Big Idea” talk / presentation, and deliver it in front of an audience on the final week of the program (virtual / in-person).
